Bagg Street Productions was named after a street my grandparents lived on in the Plateau area of Montreal, Canada called Rue Bagg (or in English, Bagg Street). In the early 1900’s this area and specifically, Bagg Street became home to many European immigrants who were looking for a new start and greater opportunities in life. Through a lot of hard work and sacrifice, many of them achieved great success and as a result were able to provide opportunities for the generations that followed. When I moved to the US from Canada, I too was starting my life anew as an immigrant. I never forgot the sacrifice that my grandparents made and always wanted to be reminded that from hard work, great things were possible. And so, this is how Bagg Street Productions came to be.
